Job Summary
Landscapes USA is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our Oklahoma City team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in irrigation installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for both commercial and residential properties. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Salary Range
Ranges from $18-$23 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for commercial and residential landscapes.
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic irrigation problems, including controllers, valves, wiring, and sprinkler heads.
- Perform inspections, adjustments, and seasonal system startups/shut-downs.
- Monitor water usage and make recommendations for efficiency and conservation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in irrigation installation and repair (commercial experience preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and industry best practices.
- Ability to operate tools, trenchers, and other equipment safely.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of smart irrigation systems and water conservation practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
