Job description
Landscapes USA is an established, pioneering and rapidly growing Commercial Landscape Maintenance Firm. You will have fun, love your job, and love being a part of our team! We are a partner owned company with operations in 7 states and 11 different cities. We provide professional landscape maintenance services to commercial properties in the Houston area.
We are seeking a Business Developer to maintain and expand our corporate image of excellence through sales of quality products and services, servicing our customers’ needs, and providing open lines of communication to our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business: make introductory CALLS, QUALIFY the opportunity, OVERCOME objections and CLOSE the deal
- Set and achieve goals that have daily, weekly and monthly benchmarks
- Maintain fantastic relationships with our existing customers
- Establish a network of key decision makers and influencers in the property management industry
- Work at a fast-paced environment while operating with a high sense of urgency
- Be known for outstanding communication and service
- Quickly identify prospective customers through a combination of telephone and in-person calls
- Work well with the operations team, leveraging their expertise
- Attend trade shows and conferences related to our industry
Requirements
- Positive attitude, coachable, highly competitive and results driven
- Extensive face-to-face (B2B) sales experience to mid and upper level prospects
- Demonstrated sales achievements in a longer selling cycle
- Resilience and an ability to overcome objections
- Proficiency with computer software (MS Office suite)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including developed phone skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience using social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (B2B) work experience
- Knowledge and contacts within one or more market segments of our customers (Office, HOA, Healthcare, Education, Multifamily, Lodging, Retail and Industrial).
- Sales experience in the Landscaping Industry preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
